    Dr. Obiekwe graduated from Meharry Medical College in Nashville Tennessee and did a year of Trauma surgery at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta Georgia. She then went on to complete her Residency in OB/GYN with Morehouse School of Medicine. Dr. Obiekwe is Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and has been in practice in Opelika Alabama since 2002. She is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a member of the East Alabama Medical Center Cancer Committee and served as the Cancer liaison physician for 8 years. Dr. Obiekwe co-published in the American College of Surgeons on the effect of anti-phospholipid syndrome with recurrent miscarriages.

    Premier OB/GYN, LLC is pleased and excited to welcome new Physician Assistant, Ashley L. Anyadike, PA-C, to the practice! Ashley is a nationally certified physician assistant with a passion for women's health and patient care, and an eagerness to serve. Ashley grew up in Auburn, AL and is a 2008 graduate of Auburn High School. She graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Respiratory Therapy. After working as a Registered Respiratory Therapist for five years, she returned to UAB in 2016 to obtain a Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies. She will be working alongside Dr. Obiekwe to provide comprehensive, compassionate, and quality care to the women of Lee County and all surrounding areas.
